Pelumi Akinsete
Managing Director/CEO
Mr. Akinsete is a seasoned risk management expert with vast experience in finance, credit structuring,
analysis, international trade, financial modeling, etc.
Having worked with world class financial institutions such as Guaranty Trust bank and Access bank Plc. in
different capacities, he brings over fifteen (15) years of Finance experience to the table.
Pelumi holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and an MBA from the University of Lagos.
He is a fellow of the Professional Risk Managers International Association and the Institute of Credit
Administrators.
He also holds a professional certificate in project management and is a member of several bodies including
the Risk managers association of Nigeria, the Chartered institute of bankers, to mention a few.
He is an Alumnus of the Prestigious Lagos Business School and also the Strathmore Business School, Kenya.
Pelumi has also attended several short courses far and wide.
Ronke Ladega
Head of Credit and Risk Management
Mrs Ronke Ladeja is a Credit Risk Analyst with over 15 years’ experience in Credit management and Control,
Risk management and Assessment, Customer Relations, Business strategy and Management with a robust knowledge
of portfolio management, credit risk restructuring and an excellent understanding of financial statement
analysis for financial institutions and corporate organizations with proven track record of asset management.
She started her career as a part time Statistics Lecturer in Yaba College of Technology and subsequently worked
at Citiserve Ltd, Kinley Securities Ltd, Stanbic IBTC at various capacities.
She holds BSC in Demography and Social Statistics from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife and
an MBA in Human Resources Management from Lagos State University, Lagos.
Mrs. Ladega is an associate member of the Institute of Strategic Management and Institute of Entrepreneurs of
Nigeria.
She started with Gabsyn as a Credit Risk Analyst rising through the ranks to her current position as Head of
Credit and Risk Management.
Edobor Ugbe
Head of Compliance and Control
Mr. Edobor Ugbe is an experienced risk management expert and research analyst with vast experience in risk
management, credit analysis and loan structuring. Having worked with reputable financial institutions such as
Access bank and Zenith Bank Plc in different capacities, he brings over eleven (11) years of banking experience
to Gabsyn.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Lagos and membership of the Risk Managers
Association of Nigeria (RIMAN) as well as the Chartered Institute Of stockbrokers. His experience in the banking
industry also includes Portfolio Reporting, Regulatory Audit and Regulatory Reporting.
He also has a strong flair for research and writing starting and heading a group of intelligent and brilliant
scholars and researchers at Infinity Academy and Research Centre, Lagos, after he left the banking Industry.
He brings his vast knowledge and experience of Credit and Risk Management as well as Reporting, Research and Market
analysis to bear on Gabsyn.
Olayide Oyelere
Head of Finance
Mr. Olayide Oyelere is a Finance Specialist with extensive experience in Finance, Bank reconciliations,
Banking Operations, Financial reporting and analysis, Risk Management and Business strategic Planning, with a
verifiable track record of achievements within the Banking and financial services sector.
He obtained his first degree in Applied Geophysics from the Ladoke Akintola University Of Technology, Ogbomosho, Oyo
State.
He is a Certified Microfinance Banker from Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and currently
undertaking MBA in Finance and Investment at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. He is a member of the
Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN) and also has certifications in Strategic Planning Foundation;
Budgets and Financial Reports; Financial Modeling, Financial Planning and DCF Valuation.
He has worked in different capacities including Head of Bank Reconciliation at Empire Trust MFB/Citigate Global
Investment Ltd, Lagos and was Senior Finance Officer at Bridge Credit Limited, Lagos.
He is currently the Head of Finance at Gabsyn, a dynamic, motivated and well-grounded change agent with a passion
for attaining the unachievable through analysis and collaboration. He consistently demonstrates a can-do attitude
and embrace tough challenges with energy and enthusiasm. He has also attended various in-house training on banking
operations, control and audit, Fraud detection and work place management, Customer services among others.
Dele Samsideen Adeyeye
Head of Sales
Mr Dele Samsideen Adeyeye is an experienced Sales Manager with several years in sales and marketing within the
micro-finance sector.
He has also built a vast knowledge of Credit Risk Management and Business Strategic Planning, with a verifiable
track record of achievements in the micro-finance sector.
He is a graduate of the Tai Solarin University, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, where he obtained his first degree in
Business Education/Accounting and is currently undergoing the Micro Finance Certification Program with the
Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
Mr Adeyeye has worked in different capacities including Credit (Sales) Officer at Catland Micro-Finance Bank,
Ogun State and PRRWEI MFB where he rose to become an Area Manager (Ogun State) before joining Gabsyn.
He is currently the Head of Sales at Gabsyn, a resilient marketer, a self-motivated goal getter and a well-
grounded micro-finance banker with a passion for attaining the unachievable through teamwork and dedication.
